… now what?

Who can I talk to if I have questions?

Miss Tylene the owner of Centre Stage will reach out to you personally to welcome you to the studio. We encourage open and constructive communication through your child’s dance education, so please reach out with any questions that may come up at any point. What should my dancer wear to their first class?

For your first class, wear whatever is comfortable! We recommend a leotard and tights for ballet, jazz, and contemporary if you have them already. If they do not have any shoes, socks work just fine. Please keep their hair up in a ponytail or bun. You can find our dress code HERE or order any dance supplies you may need from our online shop, just select your dancer’s level and everything you need will be listed there.

Can I stay at the studio during class?

that the first few classes can be an adjustment, so we will help you and your dancer to feel comfortable and confident in their new adventure. For our Shimmer levels (ages 3-6) we also turn on Zoom during class so parents are able to watch from home or from their car.

What do they need to bring?

The most important thing to bring is their water bottle! We have a water cooler for them to refill anytime they need during class. If your dancer is as the studio for 2+ hours at a time, we recommend bringing a snack as well. Other items we recommend is a bag to keep all their belongings in one place, and any dance shoes they will need for their classes that day.

What if we miss a class?

Life happens, we completely understand. Please let us know by text or email as soon as possible if your dancer will not be in class. Most of our classes we are able to offer make-up times and we can schedule that with you. We can also stream the class on Zoom if your dancer can still participate from home.
